So this year, I spent some time in the motherland, aka Dhaka, Bangladesh. En route, I stopped for 4 days in Dubai which is always fun. The short stint I had in Dubai was spent alternatively shopping and having tea with friends (shout out to Fortnum and Mason.) The rest of my hours were stuffing my face while trying to drown out the creepy, Disney-esque music deafeningly streaming from the water fountains in front of the Burj Khalifa to the "Oohs!" and "Aahs!" of tourists. Ah Dubai. Never change.
