Welcome 2 my crib: Quarantine Edition Day #1

IDK what this is or how long it’ll last (probably until I get distracted by shorter form content, here’s looking at you Tik-Tok.) All I know is I want something to look back on as I don’t know how long I’ll be inside, and not something totally curated. Maybe only 40% curated. Anyway. Here’s today.

Today, my first day in Contagimode, I spent most of my day staring abjectly at the television, wondering if we had enough toilet paper. (Barring a mass outbreak of IBS in our house, I would say yes.) Then I made a list of all the wonderful arts and crafts and dreams I could accomplish now that I was trapped indoors. Right after, I realized I was the same person and realized I would accomplish little to none of this. Then I pondered the economy, went on Twitter, then I found… this.

I have a soft spot for Chet Hanks. (Chester Hanks for all you ignorants.) He is obviously Tom and Rita’s walking PR nightmare, and possibly Rita’s secret favorite. He thinks he can speak Patois, and when his parents announced they had Coronavirus he took the time to tell us in his own, ehem, special way. Never change Chet.
