Long Weekend in Amsterdam
This post is a quite a few months late, but the photos are so colourful and architecturally beautiful that I still want to post them. No, I am not one of those people that posts photos with a nasal “take me back”, but I am a person with a deep appreciation for windowsills, lighting, and minimalist ceilings. Of which the Netherlands has much of. It was so cold at the time that I really did think I was being constantly gauged in the eyeballs every time I stepped outside, but the amazing food, (mustard soup is not what you would think), beautiful wine bars, mind-blowing boutiques (hello vintage faux-cheetah jackets), and galleries made hiding from the frigid weather worth it. I’ll shut up now. Here are some photos.
Eat at Hoed en Krelis. Beautiful restaurant, with creative and innovative food
