Teetering Around Montreal Part 2: Other Stuff
They say the best things in life are free. "They" are stupid and lying to you. During my ad-hoc Montreal trip, the best things in life were definitely not free, except for the sound of my own laughter. The best non-free thing that caused the most free laughter would have to be the tickets that my colleague and longtime amigo Joy got me for my birthday to the Just for Laughs Talk of the Festival Comedy Panel, hosted by none other then the worlds greasy boyfriend, Chris D'Elia. Joy may have even grabbed his butt. One of my eyes almost fell out of my head due to merciless laughter and tears. For real I looked like a drunk racoon. The rest of the weekend was spent getting obese from brunch, buying jorts, and taking photos of peoples homes without their express permission. The weekend wrapped up by accidentally going clubbing with a bunch of 16 year olds, and then spending the day with our friend Rani, getting lost in a theme park that played "Teenage Dream" by Katy Perry on a loop before attending Picnic Electronique with a bunch of steampunk crackheads where we befriended a group of Tunisians who were all named Hoosam. All in all it was a wonderful time and I'm really lucky to have friends that find the same things funny as I do.
